Dream Bigger is a concept to express the desires of the heart. With this page for Dream Bigger, I will express my goals for the future. Being able to dream bigger, I believe I have been doing this all of my life. I can always envision a better way to do the things which have impacted my life. I do not always have the ability to change or improve these things but it does not keep me from dreaming bigger.
In many cases the bigger dreams become goals. These goals are things you want to achieve in life. Sometimes they have a time line but in most instances achieving the goals depend on how your life unfolds. This means that you win some, you lose some. When you lose some you make different goal which become bigger dreams.
These are my current Dream Bigger Goals.
Since starting my performance blogging business, I wrote down my Dream Bigger goals. Of course, my goals depend the continued success of this venture. A few years ago, my husband and I had drawn up blueprints to build a seven thousand square foot house on his family land in the country. For several years we thought we were doing the things to achieve this dream. This house had everything I ever wanted in a house.
This house had a library for my books and a sewing room. The house had enough bedrooms to house our growing family especially during holidays. Because it was doing the holidays that they would come and we would try to make everyone comfortable. However, it would seem that God had a different plan for us. In December of 2020 my husband passed away from Covid. So the plan for the seven thousand square foot house in the country had to change.
My current dream is to add square footage to the house I own now. I want to add an office with space for my books and a sewing room. Then add an additional bedroom and bath, and update the other two bathrooms. I still have the family members which come and stay during the holidays, therefore, this would give extra space and comfort. Because they come for every holiday, Easter, Memorial Day, Summer, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
My next Dream Bigger Goal is to make my backyard a paradise, with a pool. Then to buy a new car and pay off some debts. I would like to have that new electric Cadillac. It seems I have always owned a Cadillac for the pass 30 years. This new one would really be a dream.
The next Big Dream I have is to invest in real estate. I would like to be like the people I see on HGTV, buying rundown properties and renovating them. Thus improving the neighbors around the city. I see many houses that have been abandoned or forgotten and left to deteriorate. I would like to bring them back to life as I have seen them done on TV. This changes the feeling of the whole neighborhood.
Dream Bigger For My Family
I presently have four grandchildren and great grandchildren under the age of 13, which I would like to set up college funds for them. If they do not want to go to college, then this would be trust funds for their future. Basically, I want to help them get a little financially ahead in life. I know what is like to be tied down not being able to achieve stages in you life because of financial hardships.
Dream Bigger For Other People
Finally, I want to be able to contribute to my charities. Before my husband passed we often had charities that we regularly made contributions. I would like to be able to go back to doing that.
Then I want to continue what my husband started in building a new building for the church he was pastoring at the time he passed. The building was finished in November 2020 prior to his death, however, there are still some things which need to be done to get to full completion. My dream is to help the church move forward.
